Prom Night
No,
I’m not the
guy who will
infiltrate your every
fantasy tonight.
He’s a substitute
of me present.
Awaiting gifts of
awe,
wrapped in your
presence.
Given slowly but
dearly.
As you find
advantage in each
step,
down your stairway.
Crushing and crippling,
all desires I
obtain in this crush.
Ever so never-minding,
to the damage.
More likely focused
on how well you’re
making him blush.
Rather than what
it’s like to feel
as if such a poem,
is to be heard
or to be hushed.
While he’s slow dancing
to the rhythm of
your affection.
I’ll be sending,
a whirlwind of
words.
Hoping the power
of them,
will sweep you
off the dance floor.
Away from this
fairy tale of
an occasion.
I want us both,
to be on
the opposite end
of “happily ever after”.

Harmful Thinking
I’m hooked on
these ideas but,
never dangle from
your support.
Reality reminds me,
that they’re just
suicidal tendencies.
Killing off the
inner boy,
who hangs upon
his dreams.
Each poem is
a eulogy,
you won’t ever
hear.
Still i’m willing
to collide with,
brainstorms beholding
your name when near.
They may leave
me scattered abroad
pages,
empty as the
tank that’s suppose
to be fueling my happiness.
Yet I can’t deny
the love received,
when you spoon feed
my mind.
With greatness and
verse.
I shall indulge
in your presented
feast.
Consume beauty in
food for thought.
As you openly
disregard this.
They fail to
realize,
never will I
be a starving
artist.

A Hopeful Getaway (Re-written)
Good times have
disappeared into clouds,
of negativity.
Those bad moments,
would do anything
but fade.
Even if I
were to fan
them away with,
a careful outlook.
Your desertion has
lowered my spirit.
It’ll take more
than girls with,
pom poms to
cheer me up.
I just need
your return,
to uplift me
from despair.
Then maybe I
could prevent,
the mark I’ve
made on your life.
From becoming
eraser shavings,
to be blown into
air.

“Another Wish”
Just for all
the time.
I’d like these
apologies to
make us up
again.
Like the appliances
used to cover,
your hated blemishes.
Then i’d be
honored to show,
all you would
grant a look to.
How charming forgiveness,
really is.”
The art itself is a priority, to a dedicated artist. Not making a profit.

Salvation
Today,
I don’t want
you to open
your medicine cabinet.
Your body deserves
more than cure teasers.
In which those
abundance of pills,
act as.
For now,
allow yourself
to adapt the
raw strength exposed
between these lines.
Day by day,
place holy spirit
on your prescription.
Side effects alone,
have outdone any
medication.
When the night,
buys out time
for you to
go without resting.
Let future blessings
enrich your focus,
over the deprivation
of sleep.
Unlike your pest
of pestilence,
the finest health
will be given
to keep.
Together we still
await when death,
will only have its
grim to reap.
Becoming forever non-existent,
as its mythical being.
This world is
an eyesore,
soon to be
denied of sightseeing.
Long live the days.
When we’re able
to enhance,
our views with
this paradise vision.

News
To all my readers,
Sorry for the mini-hiatus in producing new material everyone. I’m still working on re-writing some of the poems for the first book. So far three are finished! It won’t be too much longer until all the re-writing is finished and then a release date! So please stay faithful and patient. I will have new material ASAP to keep all satisfied. “The Day I Drowned In My Tears” (Spoken Word) will hopefully be uploaded over the weekend sometime. As well as new paged poems. Thanks all again for the patience! Peace for now!
P.S. My surprise spoken word poem for the end of the year has been complete! I cannot release the title yet (hint hint “surprise”) But it is the best spoken word I’ve ever wrote so far. You’ll see why.

Without Her
Ever since I let loose of,
the bond we were entangled in.
These gloominess levels,
have been set to
their full intensity.
You are Velcro
to my brain stem.
I cannot seem
to delay your,
attachment from the mind.
There has come
a time when,
our smiles are
shunned from eye contact.
A period when,
you found the bulls-eye
on my heart.
Although I was
never a target,
from the start.
Still I aspired,
to be one of
your greatest hits.
But you’d rather
not tune in,
to hear the artist
you’ve made of me.
